Restoration Youth Conference, June 19th-21st, 2017, Cache Valley Utah

The youth have asked us to post this announcement.  
More information will be posted on this and other blogs. 
A message about this from the youth:

Hey you! Yeah you, are you free this summer from Monday June 19th through Wednesday June 21st? Because you’ll want to be! Have you been needing a spiritual retreat with other youth your age? Because this conference is exactly that; a series of exciting activities and spiritual bonding to help the youth get closer and more interested in the gospel. During this extravaganza, not only will we be taught the words of Christ, we will be doing this in some beautiful places in Cache Valley, Utah, such as a reservoir, during a sunrise, under the stars, etc. This event will never be boring and includes all youth wanting a fun time. Parents are welcome to serve and contribute where needed but this conference is FOR THE YOUTH. More information on this will be coming, but clear your calendars for the upcoming Youth Conference.

    There have been several questions about what constitutes youth. The age range is about 12-19 years old, but they wanted us to say youth so as not to exclude those who might not fall into this exact age range.

    So why put the age restriction in the first place? I as a 21 year old already feel like I wouldn't be welcomed if I did show up. Why not inform us of the intent and purpose of this conference and allow the people to make their own decision if they would benefit from attending for themselves instead of placing an arbitrary age restriction on it, but at the same time with another hand put the title of youth on it. Should this not be open to all but obviously catered to those of a younger age? This honestly sounds fun, but based on the restrictions placed upon it I already feel like I wont/can't attend. Just some questions and input I have

      This is an activity for the teenagers. If you feel you need to be there, you are welcome.

    Do you have any up-Dates for this Youth Conference? We have a bunch of kids that are planning to come from Arizona and parents who would like to make arrangements! Sorry if I have missed it somehow.
